Meet the team

Nick Merritt, Editorial Director and Editor in Chief

Nick is one of the UK’s most experienced editors with a long list of launches and firsts under his belt across the Internet, Photography, Computing, Homes, Poker and Technology sectors. He was the founding Editor-in-Chief of TechRadar and built it into a global brand.

Aatif Sulleyman, Deputy News and Features Editor

Aatif is one of the UK’s best known tech journalists, having been News Editor at Gizmodo UK and Tech Reporter for the Independent. He’s also written for DigitalSpy and ITProPortal.

Alastair Stevenson, Deputy Editor

After graduating from King’s College, London, Alastair started his career covering technology policy and cyber security at Incisive media. He  became the primary computing, mobile and games reviewer for V3 and The Inquirer in 2011. He joined Trusted Reviews in 2015 and runs the news and reviews teams.

Max Parker, Mobile, Tablets, Wearables Editor

Max joined Trusted Reviews as a Features writer in 2015. Since then he has moved to Features Editor and then over to the Mobile section as Phones, Wearables and Tablets Editor.

He’s helped run the features section of T3, and has also written for Wearable and TechRadar.

Starting life on the consumer PC press back in 1998, David has been writing about the forefront of technology for the past 20 years.

David has edited Computer Shopper and launched Expert Reviews. He has written a number of books on PC building and maintenance. He looks after all things smarthome and home appliances for Trusted Reviews.

Thomas Newton, Computing Editor

Thomas Newton has reported on UK consumer technology and telecoms for more than ten years, including for Recombu and PCMag.

At Trusted Reviews, Thomas runs the computing section, which comprises laptop and desktop news and reviews, as well as peripherals, components, boards, cases, processors, GPUS, hard drives, NAS drives and everything in between.

Ryan Jones, Computing writer

Ryan graduated from Cardiff University with an MA in Magazine Journalism in 2016. He then worked two years at Stuff Magazine as a Staff Writer, reporting on and reviewing a wide range of consumer tech and video games. In 2018 he joined Trusted Reviews as a Computing Writer, with a particular focus on covering PC components, gaming gadgets and virtual reality.

Mark Wilson, Photography Editor

Mark was previously Acting Editor of, as well as Features editor and Reviews editor on Stuff magazine.

He has contributed to a variety of publications, including The Sunday Times, The Daily Telegraph, The Times and Arena. While completing his postgraduate NCTJ Magazine Journalism course, he won The Daily Telegraph ‘Young Sports Writer of the Year’ and was nominated for the PTC’s ‘Most Promising Student Journalist’.
